Description

ERA Genuine Gearbox Deadbolt Version with a 35 mm backset and 92 mm centres.  It is operated by lift lever or split spindle.  Please note that ERA locks have also been rebranded under the names Homesafe, Cego Surelock, Saracen, Spartan,  Duraflex, Sapa, Westward and Anglian.  The deadbolt width is 6mm as opposed to 5mm on the thin bolt version. Almost all ERA multipoint gearboxes can be interchanged with a deadbolt, hook bolt, or Vectis gearbox. To reverse the latch undo the screws in the latch to removeit,  reverse and reinsert it before replacing the screws. Nightlatch split spindle reversal:  remove the latch to reveal a small screw.  Use a small bladed screwdriver to turn the screw 180 degrees and then return the latch to the correct position.
