The Winkhaus OBV restrictor is designed to help prevent small children opening windows fully and falling out. The restrictor automatically restricts the opening of windows greater than 50mm-100mm. It also prevents windows from slamming shut. Restrictors are surface mounted vertically or horizontally on both outward and inward opening windows, and can be easily retrofitted to existing windows as an additional security and safety device. Restricts the opening distance in the turn position to approximately 50 mm if mounted on the lock side, and when mounted horizontally, variable opening distances can be achieved The OBV locking bar can be released for full operation of the sash by keeping the push button depressed .Automatic locking; when the window is closed from the turn position the limit opening function re-engages. Prevents windows from slamming shut. Can be retrofitted to existing windows as an additional security and safety device. Easily fitted using 5 screws. The steel hook is fixed with three screws. Maintenance friendly as frame section can be adjusted within a range of +3mm. Extensive range of angle packers available to allow fitting to PVCu windows. Conforms to BS6375 part 2: Load bearing capability of Safety Devices. An excellent safety product.

We would like to share some important news with you!
Firstly, Paul Thomas, our Showroom Manager, has officially retired from work! We will miss him dearly and wish him the best of luck in his new adventure in Romania with his wife and new family!

Secondly, we are excited to tell you that we have changed the way we work at our fabulous Showroom!
Since 2nd September, the Showroom will be by appointment only and opening hours will not be regular
All walk-in Showroom enquiries will now be handled by our skilled team at our Trade Centre. Our experienced team will be able to help you there and then or advise if you need a longer appointment with our Showroom Team. This change means that you will receive a more personalized service and dedicated time with an adviser if you need it. We're here to help, no matter the size of your enquiry.

Our Showroom is closed until Tuesday 30th July to allow our staff to have a well-earned break. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Our Trade Centre is open as usual, Monday to Thursday 8 am to 4.30 pm, Friday 8 am to 4 pm and Saturday mornings 8.30 am to 12 midday. You're welcome to place orders here and collect outstanding orders too.
